My aim was to eventually transition my authoring for ePub, Word, and pdf outputs to Flare. In contrast, Flare's instabilities are driving me crazy.
FM has a couple of minor errors but no problems uploading to Amazon. There is no problem with uploading an ePub from InDesign and it generates no errors. Sigil reports HTML errors, but can fix most of them. The hotlinks to popups for footnotes do not work, but they do if I link to an endnote without popup from Flare. It also has strange links in the TOC on iBooks (but not Calibre) as if there were headers with no text (which there is not). However, the same material exported out of Flare 2016R2 cannot be uploaded to Amazon. I can successfully export an ePub out of InDesign or Framemaker 12.
